Speech by Wang Tiehong, President of China Construction Industry Association, at the National Association of Construction Industry 2019 AAA Credit Enterprise Conference

In October, we gathered in Hefei to hold the 2019 annual AAA credit enterprise conference for the national construction industry. Here, on behalf of the China Construction Industry Association, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the 313 companies that passed the AAA credit rating this year!

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. With the rapid development of the new China, the construction industry has created brilliant achievements, “China Speed” and “China Height”, and created a resounding “China Construction” business card. However, we must also clearly understand that while the construction industry is reforming and developing, many aspects, especially the construction of the credit system, are far from being able to adapt to the new era and new requirements. Accelerating the establishment of a construction industry credit system that is compatible with the new requirements of the new era has become a very urgent task for the sustainable and high-quality development of the whole industry.

The main three points are as follows:

First, attach great importance to the value of the credit system and construction work.

Second, further strengthen the construction industry credit system.

Third, to strengthen the construction of credit system to promote the improvement of project quality.

The construction industry credit system construction is an important way to promote the sustainable development of enterprises, and also an important guarantee for the healthy development of the construction industry. It is of great significance to standardize the construction market order and promote the high-quality development of the construction industry. Let us take Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the guide, work together to enhance credit levels, strengthen credit management, promote high-quality development in the whole industry, and make a goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way and achieving two hundred years of struggle.
